Summary: Well now Robert Langdon contacted the murdered mans daughter and she showed them through her and her dads labrotory. She showed them what they were working on, anti-matter and how to make it from nothing. They proved the big bang theroy and what they came out with was a very explosive but microscopic dot that when it touches matter it explodes, vaporizing the matter with the anti-matter.

Summary: This is where they found out that the person that murdered the Physicist did it just to get his eye so that they could get into his labratory, through a retina scan that only his eye and the eye of his daughter would activate. When his daughter went into the lab she found that a huge chunk of anti-matter was missing, someone had stolen it and took it to the Cathlic church, apparentally to blow up a whole lot of people.

Summary: Vittoria Vetra, who is the daughter of the killed Physicist, goes to the church where the anti-matter is hidden, it is in Vatican City. This same day the church is trying to pick a new pope and the four most logical choices all of a sudden disapear, and it is from the same guy that killed Ms. Vetra's dad.

Summary:Vittoria and Langdon were allowed to enter the Sistine Chaple which is the library with thousands of ancient books that have been preserved for hundreds of years. They get in and start looking for a book by Galilao called Diagramma. It has a password in it that will lead them to the man that claims he will kill the four perfered Cardinals. After searching for a long time they finally find the code, disifer it and begin the mad dash to that church (The Pantheon) to capture him before he can kill anybody.
Reaction: I wonder how many of the Perfered cardinals this assassin will kill before they find him.

Summary: Here the two main characters realise that they went to the wrong church so they run to a different one that is a mile away and Langdon climbs down into what is called the Demens hole or where they throw dead bodies. There he finds that he was to late to save the first of the four cardinals, because burned into his chest was EARTH and he was buried standing up.
Reaction: This guy is crazy, I dont know if I want to keep reading.

Summary: Here is where even though they know exactly where the killing will take place and are right there with the crowd they still don't catch the killer and he murders another cardinal before they can stop him. Through all this CERN News videotaped it all and put it on the news for everyone to see.

Summary: In this section Robert Langdon and Vittoria Vetra locate the next church that the Hassassin will murder another cardinal at but when they arrive they see smoke coming from inside and when they enter there is pews stacked up high in the middle with the cardinal hanging by his wrists above the burning pile of pews. They begin trying to get the cardinal down because he was beginning to sizzle alive but the murderer is still in the building and he traps Mr. Langdon and takes Ms. Vetra captive.

Summary: This is an important section because here the forth and last cardinal is murdered without them catching the mad man doing the killing. It is the last element WATER that he branded this cardinals chest with and wrapped him up in chains and dumped him in a fountain. Robert Langdon shoots the killer in the toe but he barely gets away with his life, the Hassassin thinks that he killed him too. Langdon knows that the killer has Vittoria captive and he wants to save her before the killer can mutilate her so he found the way to the building that the illuminatus use and after searching for some time finds his way to the top where the killer is about to rape Vittoria. Him and Ms. Vetra somehow manage to throw the killer over the balcany to his death below.
Reaction: I didn't know that they had it in them.

Summary: This is the end of the book and the Hassassin had told Langdon that there was one more branding to do and he told him before he died that it would be done by Janus the illuminati leader. So Robert and Vittoria go off in search of him. In the end it was the camerlengo that betrayed everyone and had been a part of the illuminati, it was he that posioned the pope and him that hid the anti-matter in the church. He thought that he could become the next pope if everything worked out like he wanted it to. The anti-matter blew up in a helicopter way up in the sky harming no one. The camerlengo came and tried saying that he should be the next pope but then to his utter suprise he was told that the old pope was his father and so he went and burned himself.
Reaction: There was a twisted ending that I never saw coming.
